Yes. Pure Perspectives provides secure, confidential virtual therapy to clients located in Virginia. Virtual sessions allow you to receive support from a private and comfortable location without the need to travel to an office.

Your first session is an opportunity for you and your therapist to get to know one another. You will discuss what brought you to therapy, your goals, relevant background information, and what you hope to gain from the experience. Together, you will begin developing a plan that fits your needs.

The frequency of therapy depends on your goals, needs, and progress. Many clients begin with weekly sessions, while others may meet every other week. You and your therapist will work together to determine the schedule that is most appropriate for you.

Yes. We are in-network with several major insurance providers, including Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Optum, and UnitedHealthcare. Coverage and benefits vary by plan, so we recommend confirming your behavioral-health benefits before beginning services.

We understand that schedules sometimes change. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a fee in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Yes. Protecting your privacy is an important part of the therapeutic relationship. Information shared during therapy is kept confidential except in limited circumstances when disclosure is required by law. Your therapist will review confidentiality and its limits with you during the intake process.
